Nick Cage Still Wants 'Ghost Rider 2'

Do you?

I think "Ghost Rider" was a pretty bad movie (and I don't think Nick Cage is the right choice for Johnny Blaze either). I think the Spirit of Vengeance needs a few years to simmer before coming back to the big screen with a new cast and a new direction.

Last we heard about “Ghost Rider 2," Sony and the star of the 2007 film, Nicolas Cage, were still looking for a writer and director to helm the sequel.

While discussing his role in the upcoming CGI/live-action family film “G-Force” (Cage will voice one of the movie’s guineau pig heroes), the actor told MTV News that he’s looking less toward “sequel” and more toward “reboot” for the next “Ghost Rider” film.

Guess we still might see another "Ghost Rider" one way or another.
More news to come! Catch ya' later!

I'm so tired of the word "reboot" at this point. It's totally being overused. It ends up being a waste of time and money, essentially. Studios are basically admitting that they completely screwed up on the previous film, so they decide to "reboot" it. Just do it right the first time around! Ugh.

If they want to properly reboot this one, Nicolas Cage needs to stay as far away from Ghost Rider as possible.

Exactly! Let Ghost Rider be for now. Just making another one, even a reboot, would serve no purpose.

Give the franchise a few years, bring it back with a new cast and give it new direction.
