Box Office results for the weekend!

1 BrĂ¼no $30.4M

2 Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs $28.5M

3 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen $24.2M

4 Public Enemies $14.1M

5 The Proposal $10.5M

6 The Hangover $9.93M

7 I Love You, Beth Cooper $5M

8 Up $4.66M

9 My Sister's Keeper $4.18M

10 Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian $1.52M

"Bruno" opened bigger than "Borat," but can it do better in the long run. The studios probably aren't that worried since the estimated budget for the film is only $42 million.

"Ice Age 3" is so far doing better than its predecessors, but I think that is due to lack of competition right now of movies out for kids. "Transformers 2" fell 42 percent since last weekend while "Public Enemies" fell even more and is probably not going to make enough money to cover its budget and marketing costs.

This was the third worst weekend of the summer according to the total of the top 10 from this weekend, but the summer isn't over yet.
Expect "Harry Potter 6" to rule next weekend.
