In more news that pertains to "Rome" while at the same time not pertaining to it, Kevin McKidd is being considered for the role of "Thor."
McKidd played Lucius Vorenus, a Roman solider friends with Titus Pullo (Ray Stevenson, "Punisher: War Zone"). He also is a a regular on "Grey's Anatomy" and starred in the show "Journeyman." He also played a role in the film "Made of Honor."
According to IGN, "McKidd confirmed for IGN that he's still a contender for the lead role and that there's been 'a lot of back and forth' about the project of late, but that nothing has been determined. He acknowledged that Kenneth Branagh is directing it, a choice that makes him even more excited about the film."
So will Kevin McKidd play "Thor?" We will have to wait and see, but I'm sure he wouldn't make a bad Norse God of Thunder.
More news to come! Catch ya' later!
