Movie Monsters: Compare Their Sizes

Check out this chart that compares different sizes to some memorable monsters from cinema.

It starts with Chucky from "Child's Play" and also includes the Wicked Witch of the West ("Wizard of Oz"), Tyrannosaurus Rex ("Jurassic Park"), "King Kong," the Rancor from "Star Wars," Megatron ("Transformers"), the "50 Foot Woman," Mr. Stay Puft from "Ghostbusters," the Tripods from "War of the Worlds," "Godzilla" and the "Cloverfield" monster.

What other creatures would you have liked to see on this chart? I would say Bruce the Shark from "Jaws" and the creature from "Alien," but you might nto be able to see them since they are tiny compared to these other monsters.

More news to come! Catch ya' later!

That's pretty cool. There was a similar chart in a book called "A Field Guide to Monsters" by Dave Elliott. It was published before Cloverfield and the War of the Worlds remake, so it's kind of cool to see those creatures on a size chart now.

Yeah, makes you think that monsters will just keep getting bigger and bigger.
