Is this the title for a new movie? No, not really.....for two movies!
The remake of Clash of the Titans and the upcoming War of Gods are both being made by Warner Bros. and about sound a little similar, and they are both coming out in 2010.
In Gods we follow battles waged by Theseus, a warrior from Greek mythology, who leads a fight against the imprisoned titans in a story where gods fight alongside mortals.
In Titans, we follow Perseus, the son of Zeus, as he must overcome a series of obstacles to save his beloved Princess Andromeda, including cutting off the serpent-tressed head of Medusa, who can turn a man to stone with a single glance.
Greek mythology in two films coming out around the same time by the same studio? Interesting.
Clash of the Titans is being directed by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk, Transporter 2) and will star Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation, Avatar) as Perseus.
War of Gods is being directed by Tarsem Singh (The Cell, The Fall) and will star Henry Cavill (Stardust, The Tudors) as Theseus.
