IESB and Latino Review both have sources that work fro WB. This sources remain anonymous and say that WB is looking for its "Green Lantern" and the top of that list has the name Chris Pine.
Does that name sound familiar to you? He is playing Captain Kirk in the upcoming "Star Trek" franchise reboot.
Can one man play both Captain Kirk and Green Lantern. Maybe.
In the new "Green Lantern" film, Hal Jordan is a pilot who finds a powerful ring and its lantern-like battery when a spaceship crashes on Earth. Jordan is selected to succeed the craft's dying occupant as the next Green Lantern, a galactic guardian who is a member of an interstellar corps.
Would he make a good Green Lantern? WB seems to think so. What are your thoughts?
