Bay Needs a Break from Robots

Monday we heard the news that "Transformers 3" would be coming out in 2011, making the franchise a trilogy and having a film out every two years.
That is a lot of work for the crew, as I mentioned in my earlier post.

Now it seems Michael Bay doesn't want all that work. He wants a break. I think he has earned it.

According to Bay's official Web site, "I said I was taking off a year from Transformers. Paramount made a mistake in dating Transformers 3 - they asked me on the phone - I said yes to July 4 - but for 2012 - whoops! Not 2011!!! That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots."

If this does go through and the film is rescheduled and made, then this will be the first trilogy that Bay has made. All of his films stand alone except for his one sequel besides "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and that is "Bad Boys II."

More news to come! Catch ya' later!
