Deadpool: Right or Wrong in Wolverine

MTV News interviewed Ryan Reynolds and had to ask him about his role as Deadpool in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." One main question was about the strangely scarred mutant battling with Wolverine in the trailer. Deadpool is supposed to have scars so it is possible it is Deadpool, but the character displays abilities Deadpool does not have in the comics.

So what is going on here?

This is the mutant in question.







This mutant looks pretty cool and seems to display multiple powers. My problem is that those aren't Deadpool's powers. I guess we can only really find out once the movie is in theaters.
