Christian Bale Says 'Batman 3' May Not Happen

Sadly, the news isn't good.

I think one of the main reasons this movie may NOT be made is because people flip a sh*t and drive the damn thing into the ground.

Nolan isn't like Michael Bay, who wants the whole world to milk his explosive teets. Nolan just wants to tell a story, and with people going crazy like they do (combined with Ledger's death, of course), I'm not surprised he and Bale don't want to go through it again.

I can see where you are coming from.

When I was at an event where I met Michael Uslan (executive producer on the film), a person asked why Nolan hadn't agreed to make a third film yet (this took place back in November).

Uslan said Nolan needed a break. I think there is much more to that just as you said.

Ledger's death impacted the film and Nolan doesn't know if he can rise to make a great third film in the franchise.

What can only be done now is the waiting game to see what happens next.
