Yogi Bear

"Scooby-Doo" did it, then "Alvin and the Chipmunks" did too.
"Tom and Jerry" and "The Jetsons" are also rumored to be next.
But it seems to definitely be happening with "Yogi Bear."

A live-action movie mixed in with some CGI to create the walking, talking bears.

Rope of Silicon says that Warner Brothers "adaptation of the old school cartoon 'Yogi Bear' is still moving forward and 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' helmer Eric Brevig is set to direct it as a 3-D project.

'That ’70s Show' exec producers Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia are penning the screenplay, which will offer a new take on the half-century-old title character and his sidekick Boo Boo, who get into a series of misadventures in Jellystone Park."

Well, I guess all the great old cartoons will be turning into movies. "Flintstones" already happened.
Might as well break it down!
