Megan Fox as Lara Croft?

Latino Review found an article from Spain (in spanish) talking about how another "Tomb Raider" movie is in the works and how Megan Fox ("Transformers") may take up the role of Lara Croft, previously played by Angelina Jolie.

According to Latino Review, "Europa Press from Spain ran a story about Megan Fox being looked at to replace Angelina Jolie in a third Tomb Raider film.

There's no director attached and I'm not even sure if a third has been greenlit, but Fox does look the part and her success from the 'Transformers' movies means she could finally have her own big name character that could lead to future sequels.

The article says that they're looking to shoot in 2010 with a release date of 2011."

I don't even know what to really say about this new development. I think a new "Tomb Raider" will have to have a great director and script to make up for the previous two films based on the hit videogame. Megan Fox is getting a lot of attraction based on her attractions, but more will be needed to become a lead star (mainly acting, which was only okay in "Transformers" since the camera was mainly focused somewhere around her belly button).
So far this is only a rumor, and a rumor it shall stay until I hear some hard facts!
More news to come! Catch ya' later!
