'Rhodey' is the best friend of billionaire Tony Stark and will eventually take the mantle of War Machine,an Iron Man type armor that is silver (a teaser for this was in the movie when Rhodey looked over at the armor and said, "Next time").
Now Don Cheadle will play Rhodey in the Iron Man films and possibly in a War Machine spin-off.
But how did this happen?
"Marvel had no comment, but sources close to the deal said negotiations with Howard fell through over financial differences, among other reasons."
