New 'Shutter Island' Trailer

Martin Scorsese's "Shutter Island" was originally set to debut today, but now has been delayed until February. Once considered an Oscar contender, the adaptation of the Dennis Lehane novel will now potentially kick off a year-long Oscar campaign, satisfy as an early year blockbuster or end up proving there's a reason it was moved to a less-than-stellar calendar slot. Either way, you can't help but be interested.

Now Paramount is hoping to get you even more intrigued with the second full trailer for the film, which stars Mark Ruffalo as U.S. Marshal Chuck Aule, who travels with his new partner (DiCaprio) to Massachusetts island in 1954. As they investigate the disappearance of a patient from a hospital for the criminally insane, they encounter a web of lies, a hurricane and a deadly inmate riot that leaves them trapped on the island.

"Shutter Island" is set to hit theaters Feb. 19, 2010.
