'G.I. Joe 2,' 'The Hobbit' and More

Again - my life is extremely busy and movie news does not take a brake for me. So here is a lowdown on some of the big hits for today and multiple links providing multiple coverage of the news.

"X-Men: First Class"

The news - "Kick-Ass" director Matthew Vaughn might be taking the directing gig for this one after Bryan Singer had to step down.

"G.I. Joe 2"

The news - the sequel to last summer's "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" may be hitting theaters summer of 2012 (adding more to the comic films hitting theaters that summer). It might also have less characters.

The news - MGM is in bankruptcy and it has already stalled the latest James Bond film, but now "The Hobbit" is getting delayed as well.

"Zoolander 2"

The news - A sequel to "Zoolander" was first announced in February as actually happening. A sequel was also in the works for another popular comedy, "Anchorman." But that sequel was quickly squashed due to financing issues and the same may be happening to "Zoolander 2."
