Louis Leterrier, the director of Hulk, said there would be a scene where the audience would be able to see Captain America frozen in ice. No one saw it.
Coming to the Incredible Hulk DVD, there is an alternate opening where Bruce Banner is hiding out in the Antarctic.
And this is where Captain America is.
Can you see him? Check out the DVD when it comes out Oct. 21, 2008.This will undoubtedly lead to more connections to The Avengers movie.

Edit: Captain America's shield made an appearance in Iron Man. I don't know if it is supposed to be the real shield or if it is just a replica.
Look to the left behind Stark. The star should be a dead give-away.
