Got a nice new batch of character profiles for secondary characters in the new "Wolverine" movie.
They pretty much screwed Emma Frost up from the comics and The Blob looks retarded, but we aren't seeing this movie for them, are we?

I'm seeing the movie for all of it...Are you referring to Emma's personality being different? And you can't say The Blob looks retarded just because they gave him a country twang...
No, Emma is different because in the comics she has nothing to do with the Weapon X Program and on top of having her skin turn into diamond she is also a telepath. She was actually evil in the comics but became good, joined the X-Men and is currently head of the Xavier Institute after the Professor left (and since Jean Grey is dead in the comics, Emma is also shacking with Cyclops).
Blob just LOOKS retarded. They just made him big and muscular and it didn't look real (his arms looked really fake compared to the size of the rest of his body). Nothing wrong with giving him a country accent. Kind of think it is cool really.
And I still want to see the movie!
I knew most of that about Emma, but I didn't think you were making a comment about them not following the comics storyline-Did you really expect that sir?
As far as Blob goes, I think that's what they were going for-a dude that is obviously larger than life(or normal people anyway-hence "fake"). We will just have to see how it all turned out. I agree with your country accent comment, by the way...you know me lol.
And I am getting more and more excited to see this movie!
They veer from the comics, but I will just have to deal with it. Obviously I am more upset about Deadpool being changed, but you know what, these characters are getting screen time and that is cool (though I am still pissed about Juggernaut from X3).
I do believe Blob gets bigger (I remember seeing a clip of him being really fat, which is how he is in the comics). We will have to see.
I want to see the movie (I already could have...but I'd rather see the awesome theater version than the leaked version).
Finish your paper before that day, get packed that morning(or earlier), and we are gonna go see it that afternoon-get ready sir!
