According to Variety, two big action movies that many people are looking toward next year have finally been given official release dates!Sylvester Stallone’s ultimate team-up film, "The Expendables," was aiming for a spring release next year (April 23) and now has been shifted to August. For "Kick-Ass," the film that recently got picked up for North American distribution after a bidding war thanks to the positive reaction to Comic-Con footage is now officially opening next spring.

* Kick-Ass, directed by Matthew Vaughn, opens April 16, 2010
I’m excited for both of these films and I’m sure they’ll be in many moviegoers’ most anticipated lists of 2010.
