New 9 Trailer

G4 has the exclusive new trailer for "9," the animated feature directed by Shane Acker and starring Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Martin Landau, John C. Reilly and Crispin Glover. Crispin Glover? I'm there.

"9" is a feature-length expansion of Mr. Acker’s short film of the same name. The action-packed tale takes place in a world parallel to our own, in which the very legacy of humanity is threatened. A community of fully mobile rag dolls living a post-apocalyptic existence find one of their own, 9 (Wood), displaying leadership qualities that may help them to survive. The conflicted but resilient community includes 1 (Plummer), a domineering war veteran; 2 (Landau), an aged inventor; 5 (Reilly), a stalwart mechanic; 6 (Glover), a visionary and artist; and 7 (Connelly), a brave warrior.

Video Games - E3 2009 - Attack of the Show

The trailer looks cool and throws us a lot of cool action sequences. The story sounds unique, but I feel as if the film will wind up being short. Extending a 10-minute short to a feature-length film can be difficult and I'm pretty sure the movie will wind up being short too (i read somewhere it is only 75 minutes long).
