Although the movie "Kick-Ass" is about the kid named Dave Lizewski who becomes the costumed hero known as Kick-Ass, he meets some other characters along the way.
One of the craziest people he comes across is a 12-year-old girl named Hit-Girl and yes... she kicks serious ass.
Hit-Girl, played by Chloe Moretz, is arguably the most extreme of the characters in Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr.’s popular comic book series and from whats been said from screenings of the film, she brings a memorable and impactful performance.
If you've been wondering why this film is going to be Rated-R, then here's a few reasons. Matthew Vaughn does not cut back a bit on the violence and it's gruesome but completely awesome.
Directed by Matthew Vaughn, "Kick-Ass" stars Aaron Johnson, Mark Strong, Xander Berkeley and Christopher Mintz-Plasse alongside Nicolas Cage and Chloe Moretz who you just met.
So, what do you think of Hit-Girl now?
"Kick-Ass" opens in theaters on April 16, 2010 and I will definitely be there.
