Roland Emmerich is giving Michael Bay a run for his money! The second full-length trailer for "2012," the apocalyptic end-of-the-world movie, has just hit and it is insanely awesome! This trailer is epic and Emmerich really is showing us the end of the world with this one.
Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. "2012" is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors. An academic researcher will lead a group of people in a fight to counteract the apocalyptic events that were predicted by the ancient Mayan calendar.
"2012" is directed and co-written by German filmmaker Roland Emmerich, of films like "Independence Day," "Godzilla," "The Day After Tomorrow" and "10,000 B.C." It was also co-written by Harald Kloser, of "The Day After Tomorrow," "Alien vs Predator" and "10,000 B.C." as well.
Sony Pictures is bringing "2012" to theaters everywhere on November 13 this year.
