Can't wait three years for Marvel's "The Avengers" to come out?
Well, here’s a little dosage of "Avengers" action to keep you calm while you wait. This fan-made trailer for the "Avengers" movie features characters from a variety of blockbuster Marvel films, meaning it’s extremely off from what (and who) we’ll be seeing come 2012.
You probably noticed footage taken from a ton of different films including "Transformers 1" & "2," "X-Men," "Spider-Man 2" & "3," "The Incredible Hulk," "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," "The Day The Earth Stood Still," "Iron Man" and "Fantastic Four 1" & "2" among others.
I like how the trailer started off by hinting that the Hulk would be the villain, which has actually been speculated as the premise for the real film. But going into Spider-Man getting the black suit and creating Venom just doesn't seem to fit into the overall Avengers theme. But in the end, don't expect X-Men or Spider-Man to make an appearance in the "Avengers" film.
"The Avengers" will hit theaters May 4, 2012.
