"A Nightmare on Elm Street" won the weekend with ease though it hasn't been getting great reviews from the critics and fans of the original. The film is going to be highly front-loaded, with it making a lot of money now and probably not much later. Has it made enough to garner a sequel and help out the "Friday the 13th" franchise? We'll have to wait and see.

And "How to Train Your Dragon" isn't front-loaded at all as the film has been out for several weeks and is still making money in the Top 10.

Other films continue to peter out as people are finding ways to spend the start of the summer other than heading to the theaters. The only other film that opened over the weekend was Brendan Fraser's "Furry Vengeance," which tanked. Expect it to be on DVD very - oh wait, there it is. That was fast.

Freddy will find his nightmare to be a drunken billionaire in a high-tech suit of armor. How big will the opening of "Iron Man 2" be? Expect it to be very big. It's the start of the summer season after all.
