The good news just keeps on coming for Martin Campbell's adaptation of DC Comics' "Green Lantern."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tim Robbins ("The Shawshank Redemption," "Mystic River") has joined the film as Senator Hammond, the disapproving father to the villainous, psychic powered Dr. Hector Hammond.
Already infused with the talents of Ryan Reynolds, Peter Sarsgaard and Blake Lively, this film has an impressive cast put together so far
It is not clear how much screen time Robbins will have, but it's good to hear that he's on-board as he is a great actor, in my opinion.
I am really excited to start seeing photos and stills for "Green Lantern" soon since production on the movie begins next month in New Orleans.
What do you think of the cast so far?
"Green Lantern" is set for release on June 17, 2011.
More news to come! Catch ya' later!
