Iron Man trilogy already in works

After reading it, read this, because I am going in depth on what might happen.
So they are already deciding on what to do with Iron Man in the sequels. So this is awesome and cool. They want to have villains from the comics, like The Mandarin and The Crimson Dynamo, and have a long story that will connect Iron Man 2 and 3. And Jon Favreau ( directed Zathura, Elf, and played a role in the movie Daredevil) seems to really know his stuff about Marvel and how to connect the ideas to film. So once Captain America, Thor, and Giant Man/Wasp come out, the Avengers will be all rounded up and we will see what happens.
So while the Avengers films will be major hits, they won't be out for at least 6 more years, give or take when the entire cast is assembled.
Right now Iron Man 2 is scheduled to come out in a the summer of 2010, but the whole idea of the trilogy is out there. Terrence Howard (Rhodey in Iron Man) might be taking on the mantle of War Machine in the next movie. I see a spin-off...
