Hopefully you have seen the entertaining comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" starring Jason Segal, Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis and Russel Brand.
Brand played the crazed British rock musician Aldous Snow and was one of the funniest characters in the movie.
Now it is possible Aldous Snow may be getting his own movie.
In a movie titles "Get Him to the Greek," a fresh-out-of-college insurance adjuster is hired to accompany out-of-control British rock star Aldous Snow to a concert at L.A.'s Greek Theater. But the rocker is so out of control it leads to more than what everyone involved bargained for.
Supposedly Jonah Hill, who was in "Superbad" and played Matt the waiter in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," will follow his hero Aldous Snow in the crazy adventures.
Nicholas Stoller, director of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and director of the upcoming spin-off was in an interview with Latino Review about his other upcoming movie, a new "Gulliver's Travels" starring Jack Black.
But Stoller was able to put word in about "Get Him to the Greek."
Nicolas: It's character based. It's a road movie, so they go to London, New York, Vegas and then are in L.A. And I'm trying to be very specific about where they are in each of those places. It's kind of, you're following Jonah's character into this rock star universe.
And Russell plays the same character?
Nicolas: He does.
And Jonah's not?
Nicolas: Jonah's not the same character.
So how will this comedy spin-off play out? We will have to wait and see. Both "Gulliver's Travels" and "Get Him to the Greek" are slated for a 2010 release.
More news to come! Catch ya' later!
"I want my own bloody movie!"
