Principal photography is completed for next summer's major sequel, Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen.
According to Screen Rant, "During the writer’s strike, Michael Bay took it upon himself to write much of the script so they could make the June release deadline next summer. This way, when the strike ended, he had something prepared already for the writers to work from. What this means is that this whole film is entirely Bay’s baby. The story, characters, bots and action sequences are mostly on him."
Rumors (and spoilers) abound about this upcoming film. Is it true? I report the news, my opinions on rumors are that I don't believe them until I see them.
Transformers World 2005 said, "the character of Alice, as played by Isabel Lucas, in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, is a Pretender. For those not familiar with Transformers sub lines from the 1980s, Pretenders are Transformers that are hidden inside a shell that acts as their disguise. In the case of Alice, the shell will be an attractive human woman while the inner robot is best described as a hybrid of the Frenzy robot design from the first movie. The Pretender Transformer will have an arm that transforms into an energy weapon, a long tongue, and a scanning tentacle."
According to different sources (including Screen Rant, Comic Book Movie and Transformers World 2005) the Constructions will be in the film, which are several different robots that form together to create one massive transformer called Devastator.
Are these true? Are these false?
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters June 26, 2009.
